Friday I spent the day at Jamestown with 68 4th grades, 19 of those were my responsibility…
It was a gorgeous day and couldn’t have been better weather. All the fourth graders in my class did an awesome job and there was only one incident that was a little stressful.
All in all, I’m super proud of my 4th graders, you guys rock!
I love Jamestown, even with it being my 6th time back (at least). We went to Jamestown Island and there were archeologists digging. They told us some of the things they were finding and gave the kids some background. They told the kids, “You guys are the first people in 400 years to see this piece of pottery!” I’m pretty sure they blew their minds with that statement.
Today, we are off to the Virginia Wine Festival (my parents and I not the 4th graders).
Have a great weekend!
